Priority date and the Visa Bulletin
Your priority date is the date USCIS accepts your Form I-360 for processing (for U.S. government employees, the date the consular section receives a properly completed Form DS-1884). A visa is available to you when your priority date is earlier than the EB-4 cut-off date for your country of chargeability in the applicable Visa Bulletin chart; "C" means visas are currently available to all qualified applicants and "U" means they are temporarily unavailable. The chart below shows the current month.[1,2]
