Premium processing

With Form I-907, USCIS must take action on an H-1B petition — approve, deny, or issue an RFE or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) — within 15 business days, or refund the $2,965 fee.[1,2]

For cap cases, premium processing does not improve your chances in the selection; it only speeds up the decision after filing.[2]

An RFE or NOID stops the clock; a new 15-business-day period starts when USCIS receives the response.[1]
