After you file Form I-360
USCIS reviews the petition
High confidence In general, USCIS will decide an SIJ petition within 180 days of receiving a properly filed petition. The 180 days do not begin until USCIS has all the required evidence. A request for additional evidence suspends the clock until USCIS receives your response (or your request for a decision on the evidence it has). Missing initial evidence, or a request to reschedule a fingerprint or interview appointment, starts the clock over from the date USCIS receives that evidence or request. A request for evidence about a Form I-485 pending at the same time does not stop the 180 days for the I-360.[1,2]
Interview, if scheduled
USCIS may interview you. If it does, you may bring a trusted adult. USCIS may limit the number of people present, but your attorney or accredited representative of record may be there.[1]
Decision
USCIS notifies you of its decision. If it denies the petition, the notice gives the reasons and explains your right to appeal.[1]
